The cost to serve an independent versus a chain of equivalent total spend — driven by fragmented orders, small drops and manual admin.
Hubbl For suppliers
For food & drink suppliersSimplicity, visibility, growth. Hubbl gives suppliers a simpler way to serve independent restaurants — clean POs, consolidated drops, and a clear view of demand you couldn’t profitably reach one venue at a time. If you serve independents, we want to hear from you.

The reason chains get better pricing isn’t loyalty — it’s cost to serve. One drop, one PO, one invoice, one relationship manager. Independents give you the opposite of all of that: small orders, scattered drops, chased invoices, and margin that quietly disappears into admin. Every previous attempt to fix this has failed because it started on the supplier side. Hubbl starts on the restaurant side — which is why it works.

£40bn
UK independent restaurant revenue a year — a market you serve today at the wrong unit economics.
6–7
Separate deliveries a week to independents on a single street, from suppliers who could combine them into one.
A £600 drop to a 40-cover bistro costs the same to plan, pack and drive as a £6,000 drop to a chain kitchen. So independents get served last, quoted highest, and dropped first when things tighten — not because you want to, but because the numbers don’t work.
Our job is to fix the numbers. We become the operating platform for a cluster of independents in one postcode — the place they log every supplier, every order, every invoice. Once that data exists, we come to their suppliers with a specific, evidence-backed proposal: consolidate this street’s orders into one weekly PO, one drop, one invoice. Real volume. Real routes. Real numbers.
Simplicity for your operations. Visibility on demand. Growth from a market you couldn’t reach alone.
We’re currently running an 8-restaurant Edinburgh pilot of the core Hubbl platform. Restaurants use it to keep every supplier, order, and invoice organised. Once we have 3 months of clean order data across the cluster, we start the pooled-procurement conversations — supplier by supplier, category by category, with numbers that actually add up.
What Phase 2 will look like
Five minutes shapes what we build. We’ll share the anonymised findings back with every supplier who completes it — what independents actually want from their suppliers, in their own words.
Which postcodes do you serve, which categories, which product lines? We’ll match your reach against the clusters signing up on the restaurant side and come back to you when there’s enough demand to have a real conversation.
When there’s enough demand on a street to make it worthwhile, we come to you with a specific offer: this cluster, these SKUs, this monthly volume, this pricing ask. Real data. Real numbers. Real growth.
